Hi, I’m Bear! My journey in balloon decor and party rentals began on the beautiful island of O'ahu, Hawaii, where I had the privilege of learning from the best at Hawaii Balloon Company.

After graduating from Fort Lewis College in 2011, I met my amazing wife, Emma, a proud fourth-generation Durango local. In 2017, we decided to return to Durango, fueled by our shared passion for creating unforgettable celebrations and our commitment to serving the Durango community.

This led us to launch Durango Balloon Company and Mountain Party Rental—two businesses dedicated to bringing joy and excitement to every event.

We’re thrilled to help you create the perfect celebration, filled with vibrant balloon decor, fun party rentals, and lasting memories. We can’t wait to be part of your next event!

We kicked off our journey in February 2018 with an unforgettable debut at the Snowdown Light Parade. Our team transformed a friend's VW Van with vibrant decorations, inflated stunning 3FT LED Helium Balloons, and distributed over 300 cheerful red balloons We were thrilled to take home 2nd Place in Snowdown's Best Balloon Float, marking the beginning of our colorful adventure!

In February 2019, we made a grand return with our spectacular SPIDERMAN themed float, capturing the attention of the crowd and taking home 1st Place in the Best Balloon Category at the Snowdown Light Parade. Our dedication and creativity truly shone through, making this event one to remember

Post 2019 parade, we went on to celebrate our 1 year 'Ballooniversary,' with a large balloon drop, live music from the HILLSTOMPERS, and hosted a costume contest inside the Main Mall in Downtown Durango!
